That is a method of zig zag sewing for home use.
Make edge of cloth comes to center of metal holder.
When needle goes down on right side, As to be forced out and sew zig zag.
This way a part that being forced out covering edge of cloth and not to get frayed.

1)　Put the facing material on the reverse of thefabric.
Fist rough cut material bigger than pattern.
Also rough cut interfacing bigger than pattern and smaller than material and stick on the material with iron.

2)When you cut, cut the inside of the line which you traced with air-soluble marker.
Because you draw a line outside of a paper pattern, you may make around 2 mm bigger if you don't care and cut the outside of the line.

３）Make a copy of paper pattern mark.

4)Make holes in a paper pattern with a punch and perforating, the sewing machine needle which became unnecessary.
Mark through the holes with air-soluble marker.
It is more easy to recognize to put a mark of button from the front, and put a mark of darts from the back.

５)　That is a method of zig zag sewing for home use.

6)Put front garment body on sleeve of front garment body, and also put back garment body on sleeve of back garment body wrong side out, like a shown figure, then sew the red line together.
Front and inside the cover layer with cloth folded inside out and sew together where red line at.

7)When there is a margin for a seam towards the inside of curves, a margin for a seam is shorter than the completion, and in the margin for a seam which there is outside of a curve, a margin for a seam gets longer than the completion.
Will a difference be reflected on length when you put a red line of the inside on an outside line?
So when you put the margins for a seam with the curve together, do not pin by making ends of a seam meet, pin the place of the line of the comletion by adjusting with a pin and then sew it after tacking.
Divide the margin to sew up by iron.

8)Because a completion line is different from a margin for a seam in length in the part that hems are flaring, you sew in that part diagonally (a red line) like a figure.

9）　Sew the flap.

10) Sew the shoulder of the facing.

11) Sew the shoulder and side face to face.

12) Sew the collar face to face.
Don't sew the hem.

13) Turn the material in side out.
Sew the topstitching from the 0.5cm in from the center front of edge.

14) Sew the collar to the neck hole 0.5cm from the edge.
Edge of collar is line up with (FNP/Front Neck Point)

15)Put a fastener inside out it in the right side of the garment body.
Sew and fix a place of around 5mm above a fastener from the edge.

16) Fold a facing side then sew the place of 1cm through in the state of folding a garment body, neckband, and facing side.
Put the facing and body together face to face.

17) Snip around the curve.
The garment seems like to be drawn when you reverse the facing side without putting a cut.
(please reverse it without turning on a cut for trial and then you understand the meaning)


18) Fold the hem to the other side with iron 2cm in from the edge.
Sew the topstitching from the 0.5cm in from the center front of edge.
Hand sew the facing by a blind stitch

19) Sew sleeve.
There extra space on the sleeve, reason for make it 3 demential.
Make sure squeeze the gather.
sew 2lines on the 2~3mm on top and bottom from front of finishing line.
"Important"
Beginning of sewing and end of it make sure starting from a way over 5cm from the edge and make sure have extra thread.

20) How to squeeze gather
Make longer sew length on the machine.

21) Turn down the dial for the upper thread.

22) Start sewing from 1.5cm from the edge.
Sew 2 lines in margin to sew up.
Sew 2 lines gatherer better than 1 line.
For beginning of sewing , make sure have extra thread after machined. For the end make sure have extra thread and cut.

23) After sew 2 lines on top and bottom and pull the under thread, it makes gather.

24) Made to original thread adjustment and sew the side.

25) Turn the material in side out.
Fold the cuff to the reverse side with iron 2cm in from the edge
Sew the cuff.

26) The last, Layer together sleeve and main part.
Layer center of sleeve , margin of bottom of sleeve and margin of arm together and adjusting gather, place with marking pin.
